Digital Transfer Printing (DTF)
High-definition UV-printed decals with strong adhesion. It doesn’t need any weeding. Perfect for customizing glass, plastic, metal, wood, and more – just peel, stick, and press!
Custom UV DTF Vancouver
UV DTF is a new printing technology that allows you to transfer vibrant, full-color designs onto any hard surface with a simple peel-and-stick method. Here’s how the process works:
Here’s how the DTF printing process generally works:
-
Design Preparation
A high-resolution graphic is created using design software (like Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW). This design can include vibrant colors, fine lines, and even 3D-like textures.
2️⃣ UV Printing on Transfer Film
The design is printed onto a clear UV DTF transfer film using a UV printer. The printer uses ultraviolet light to instantly cure (harden) the ink during the printing process, giving the print:
-
A raised texture
-
A glossy finish
-
High durability
Typically, two layers are printed:
-
CMYK color layer for the design
-
White ink backing for opacity and visibility on all surfaces
3️⃣ Lamination
A laminating film is applied on top of the printed image. This protects the design and enables easy peeling during application.
4️⃣ Peel & Stick Application
The laminated film is peeled, and the adhesive side is applied directly to the surface — no heat press or water required!
UV DTF works beautifully on:-
Glass, acrylic, metal, wood, ceramic, plastic
-
Bottles, mugs, signs, phone cases, packaging, and more
5️⃣ Final Peel
Once applied, the top layer (lamination film) is peeled off, leaving a glossy, permanent, waterproof design stuck to the object.
